SFD in "Don Bosko" Electro Technical Lyceum

Software Freedom Day (SFD) is an annual worldwide celebration of Free Software. SFD is a public education effort to raise awareness of Free Software and its virtues, and also encourage its use.
FLOSSK organized a Free Software Day at the “Don Bosko” Electro Technical Lyceum in Prishtina.
This mini conference was organized by FLOSSK in cooperation with the Electro Technical Lyceum “Don Bosko” with presentations in front of the lyceum community, including students and professors, on free and open source software and its purpose, GNU/Linux, Open Street Map, Wikipedia, and other things related to the Free Software spirit.
The Speakers were:
- Taulant Ramabaja, who introduced Wikimedian and Wikipedia,
- Gent Thaci, OLPC project,
- Ardian Haxha, informed students about GNU / Linux,
- Valdrin Maliqi, presented FLOSSK Organization and OpenStreetMap project.
- A large number of Ubuntu 9.10 CD released just around that time and sent from Canonical was handed out to the students and professors.
