FLOSSTALK with Betim Deva: Adaption of the Android Operating System

On Thursday 29.12.2011at 18:00 in the premises of the IDI - Information Development Centre will be a held speech on the topic: Adaptation of the Android Operating System for e-readers, mobile phones, and tablets.
The speaker will be Betim Deva who comes from Pristina, has a bachelor degree in engineering, computer systems and master in computer science from Arizona State University.
He develops Android applications and adapts the system to nook, electronic reader of Barnes & Noble, and before that, inter alia, he has developed software to small energy requirements for Garminfone, the first Garmin tool with Android.
Earlier he has developed scientific software: among others he managed the publication of the Davinci software, a scientific open source platform used primarily to support THEMIS, an instrument in NASA’s space probe Mars Odyssey.
He programmes in Java, C / C++, Perl, web technologies (PHP, HTML, Ajax, Javascript), shell scripts, Python, C #, Scheme / Lisp, Prolog, Pascal, OpenGL, etc..
Has developed the science and technology portal pr-tech.net and the website to promote the independence of Kosovo “KosovoThanksYou.com”
